All change at the Landau Restaurant, Langham Hotel, London.

The Chef Hermes Blog has just received news hot off the press, that Michel Roux Jnr is to take over the running of the 100 seat Landau restaurant at the Langham Hotel in London.

The Langham Hotel have a habit of recruiting big names for it’s food operations. In August 2007 Andrew Turner joined The Langham from Pennyhill Park after receiving three rosettes for his food in the Latymer.

So where does this leave Elisha Carter, the Head Chef for the Landau?

Mr Carter, former two rosette holder at Charlton House, is likely to be moved to one side in favour of Mr Roux’s own staff. There are a few questions which remain unanswered with this situation. Will Daniel Cox be installed in a more junior role after his recent departure from another Roux restaurant and be given a second chance? As it stands the small details have yet to emerge, but we’re sure over time it will all come out in the wash ~ as they say.
